    young folks don`t buy revolvers

    New .357-Not a Smith though....

I bought a New Model Black Hawk in .357 yesterday, stainless. It's the second one I've owned, bought the 1st one at the Rod and Gun Club on Post at Bremerhaven Gemany in 1977 for less than a third of what I paid for this one.

    Fear And Loathing

I used to have a live and let live attitude toward snakes, if they didn't bother me I left them alone. Since being bitten by a Copperhead in 2007 that has changed now I shoot first identify species later or as we used to say in my grunt days "kill em all,Let God sort em out".

    Good makeshift plinking targets?

We use a 4 x 4 about for feet long off the scrap pile at the cabin. Holes drilled about 6-8" apart stick golf tees in and shoot my old shag balls. We can shoot up to about 75 yds, anything you think you can hit it with off hand only no rest.

Yes, I was in the Air Force. No, I was not a pilot.

I always heard you could tell if an AF guy was a pilot by the size of his wrist watch.

    1917 & the hunt for R October...

Perhaps it was Refurbished by the US Army Ordnance Corps before being issued during WWII. Hence the R near the Ord.Symbol.
