    My First 357 Magnum Revolver: 28-2

    Nice revolver, and you did get a very good deal on it, as said the Hogue grips are not factory but they are comfortable to shoot, and will help you to shoot more accurate. After you install the wood stocks on and shoot it you will see what I'm talking about. Enjoy your M28-2 it is a classic.

    My first Colt was a Trooper MKIII 4" that I carried on duty back in the mid 70's, it was a beautiful revolver. I could not warm up to it, the grip and cylinder release were unhandy for me and traded it for a Mod 28. I only have one Colt now a Detective Special, it is my bedside nightstand...

    Jack Flash thanks for posting the link for the S&W N Frame Stocks/Grips, I had seen this before and forgot about it. I traded for a 28-2 about a month ago and the Target Stocks looked original to the revolver,it has a 2 82 stamping on the left grip. Thanks again,

    Field use

    Great post Kid, I took my 2nd Model 5" HE 44 Spc. to the farm Tuesday, and had to shoot a stump. Mine has been reblued about 25 years ago and locked away until last year, it is a good shooter. No safe queens here, all shooters. Thanks for posting yours!

    I'm with TG on the value, I haven't seen a 3" 10 around here in I couldn't tell you when. I'd like to have one, if you can buy it reasonable it would be a good one to have.

    Model 10-5 import

    I have a 10-2 that has the CAI re-import stamping, condition is a used duty revolver. I gave 300 for mine, and a very good shooter. I changed the beat up grip panels and put a set of Hogue grips on and it feels much better in the hand. You can't beat the price.

    Nice pair, the 64 3" would make a great carry piece and a good one to have.
