    9 mm reloading and gage

Thank you all. Glenwolde, thank you for pointing out the OAL issue. It is interesting to see from the Lyman's 50th reloading edition that the OAL for the 9 mm Luger is 1.169 but specifically for the 124 gr jacketed HP bullet being placed, it is 1.060. Yet the 1.060 seems very short in terms of...

    9 mm reloading and gage

I have reloaded a bunch of 9 mm brass using 231 Winchester powder 4.1 grain, small pistol Remington primers, with 9 mm 124 grain Berry's round nose, OAL 1.162 on average and yet after crimping, many will not fit in the 9 mm Wilson gage. Some do and yet some do not and I do not understand why...

However, it appears that this is the wrong brass for this gun-am I correct? even though the 9 mm ultra was listed as 9 x 18. Can I reload the 9 mm...

    reloading 9x18 mm brass-different names

After doing research, I have a bad feeling that the Ultra 9 mm brass that I expanded and primed will need to be discarded for the 9×18mm Ultra (.355-inch caliber) is not interchangeable with the 9×18mm Makarov (.365-inch caliber), as the latter uses a larger diameter bullet. When I ordered the...

    reloading 9x18 mm brass-different names

I started to reload 9 X 18 mm Makarov (I have a Russina Makarov handgun) since I cannot find 9 mm bullets and brass for my Smith and Wesson MP Shield gun. I had ordered from Graf and Sons what I thought was 9 x18 but when the brass came it was "9 mm Ultra Police brass." On the other hand, when I...
