As you can see, I'm a shy and soft spoken new member.
And as my grandmother always said "If you're not a hotdog, you might be a little weinie.."
Been a 1911-junkie for many years but also grew up on The Duke, Randolph Scott and the likes, and (yes, I admit) many a spaghetti western. So I've always liked wheel guns too and am fortunate to already own a couple of nice Smiths and a Taurus.
Maybe it's the engineering influence, but I just appreciate the lines and feel of machined metal. Polymer has it's place, purpose, and my respect but, while I do own an LCP, I don't find the urge to run my hands over (er, sorry, press-checking
) it with much frequency.
Joined this forum because I'd like to become more knowledgeable about my expanding revolver interests.
Also looking for a 696 for Christmas for which, since I just missed out on one today
, I'll post a Wanted ad.
Best regards y'all eh!,
