Hey From Georgia
I just started posting on this great site yesterday. I had a question about one of my revolvers, and in just a days time, I had my answers. Since then I have been reading, and I have learned alot. As of now, I have 3 S&W revolvers. A model 28, a 625 and a 617. The model 28 was given to me by my father. This was back in 1978, it was a graduation present, it was bought new and this was my first revolver. As most of you know back then the Dirty Harry movies were very popular. And yes I too wanted one of the big 44 magnums. But back then in our town you had to be put on a waiting list. 18 year olds don't do well waiting, and this is how I got the model 28. The only problem I have with this site is the pictures of the beautiful guns. In just one day, I guess I have Smith & Wesson-itis!!! Ray

Hey, Big'un, I'm a big old boy from Georgia my ownself. What part of Georgia? I'm in middle GA, 'bout 100 miles South of Atlanta and halfway between Macon and Columbus.
Welcome, and some of us GA boys need to get together and cook up a dead hawg and shoot some S&Ws sometime. We might even let some Alabama-ians in on the fun.
