First Revolver - got a good one!
Hello, everyone. I'm an engineer living in North Georgia.
I'm not exactly new to guns, as I've shot with my father when I was about 15. He's got a good collection. After cough cough years, I decided it's time I owned a gun, but I hadn't bought one.
I became a gun owner when my dad gave me this for Christmas:
It's a 19-3, built around 1974 or so. I guess I'll admit I'm older than the gun.
I'm still learning, but I already know I'm a S and W fan.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I didn't know what a great gun this was when I first got it. Of course, this site was one of the first places I found to do some research and get myself educated.
It just "feels right." It's hard to describe, but I guess everyone here knows what I'm talking about.
I don't intend to have a large collection (doesn't everyone say that) but I'd like to have a 28 and a 29, and maybe a J* frame (haven't decided on the model.)

Reason: Typed "N frame" when I meant "J frame."
