Hey Ya'll from beautiful downtown Monroe, GA.
I'm new to the Smith & Wesson forum, but hardly new to firearms. I have been a satisfied S&W customer for 40 years. I was a hard core revolver man for years. However, within the last 5 or so years have finally adapted to the semi-auto. I use an S&W M&P 40 (with an APEX hard sear) for competition shooting and self-defense concealed carry. I feel confident in it for both. I have run hundreds of rounds through it with only one failure to chamber. That one was a very poor quality reload I was shooting in practice. I wouldn't use that junk for competition or SD carry. Yes, I do bet my life on it!!
Glad to be here. I look forward to some interesting interaction.
Big grin....my son just got back from Afghanistan!! U.S. Army, 25th Infantry Division, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team--the Arctic Wolves (Ft. Wainwright, Alaska).
