Hello All!
Hello!
Been a S&W fan since a very good friend if mine introduced me to the M&P9c... upgraded. Been a fan boy since!
I live in Michigan, lived all over the US and been to a very small handful of other parts of the world. I admin a couple of gun sites, and help out with one other, but two of which are mainly geared toward MI residents.
I was quite excited to hear about the Shield, and that the same modifications could be done to it as my 9c! Picked up my shield yesterday, and made time to shoot it as is from the factory today. For an out of the box gun I'm quite impressed! Only put about 50 rounds through it today, but rapid fire accuracy was quite nice! In fact shot it next to a M&P9fs and even at 35 yards performed better. Target was a XL Tim Horton's coffee cup. LOL, they never get the order right!

Thanks everyone!
ogilvyspecial, I'm a bit embarrassed to say I don't recognize your screen name, if it's the same on MGO. I've been absent, for the most part.

You wouldn't. ogilvyspecial is the most common of my inter-net user
id's but I didn't use it on MGO when I registered back in 2008.
Figuring that I would be attending MGO get-togethers, which I have done,
I opted to use my personalized license plate, which is knu2xs,
so others might be able to recognize me by my van.
I rarely visit MGO anymore, too much drama for me.

Welcome here and thank you for your service. I'm kind of a newb myself and I'm also an ESEE fan.

I know you now! Funny how small the net really is!
Yeah, drama. Even too much on MGF for my liking.

That's my first one. LOL! Love it so far! With knife laws being so wishy washy in MI, I figured the Izula II would be my best bet for legal carry. That and my Kershaw.

Nice to see so many other service members on a board! I can't say I have much of anything under my belt. Shellback, and Operation Stabieze. (SP is wrong, I'm sure. I can't write in Australian.)
