Greetings From Tucson
Just another FNG checking in. I was researching a model 25-5 I won on GB and found this site to be interesting and informative. It reawakened my love for S&W revolvers and I have already spent a few happy hours reading numerous posts.
I spent 23 years in law enforcement and my first duty weapon was an old 5 screw model 19. Every revolver I was issued, through service on two separate agencies, was a Smith & Wesson. I succumbed to the allure of the semi-auto in the mid 90's, but interestingly the shootings I was involved in during my career all found me armed with a revolver, which served me well.
In my "old age" I find myself drifting back to revolvers, and I look forward to many productive exchanges on this site.
