I want to say hello and thanks for providing a great forum for S&W lovers.
I worked for what was once a large film and photographic company in western NY. Fortunately I had in a lot of years prior to going out with major back surgery about 14 years ago. Since then I have had 7 surgeries and am doing better.
Before that I had a great career with the company as a project manager and a commissioning manager on large projects. The last project I was on was building a film sensitizing machine in China. I was on that project for 8 years and lived in mainland China for 4 years.
I traveled a lot so now that I am not able to I have a lot of wonderful memories.
I am lucky that I belong to a great gun club that is only 10 minutes from my home. They have an indoor heated range 25 yard, a 50 yard outdoor pistol range and a 250 yard rifle range. They are open from 9AM to 11PM. It is easy to grab a few rounds and a handgun and have some fun and BS with the other members any time you feel like going.
I have a Dillon XL 650 and reload 380, 9mm 38/357/45ACP. I have a number of custom made 1911's in 9mm and 45ACP. I have started to shoot my S&W 686 a lot because of the ease of retrieving brass. I just purchased another S&W revolver a 625 so I can shoot 45ACP as I have a lot of rounds that are made and supplies to last me a lifetime of making more.
I am sure I will start to trade off some of the 1911's I have and increase the amount of revolvers that I will own.

Welcome from another ex New Yorker. I was a member of the Buffalo Revolver and Rifle Club in West Seneca NY for years before I moved to Utah. Great bunch of people up there and great competition as well.
