Model 29-3 with white lettering
Hello.....I've been a S&W owner for over 30 years but am only now becoming a "collector." I recently purchased a Model 29-3(blue). The lettering on the barrel (boths sides...one side says SMITH & WESSON the other 44 MAGNUM) are white.....the small lettering on the frame is white (made in the USA etc) as is the serial number and model on the yoke......just wondering if this was done at the factory or if someone along the line did this on their own.

Someone added it at some point.A little acetone,an old toothbrush or a toothpick will get rid of it if you like.Dont get it on the grips!
