New Member from Cleveland, Ohio! Shield9mmPC
Hey guys, I'm from Cleveland, Ohio and I'm new to the handgun community. I am officially a new owner of a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 9mm Performance Center. So naturally I have decided to join the forum! This is my first time owning a handgun, although I am familiar with shooting and handling other firearms.
I've already done a few things to my Performance Center Shield. On top of the HiViz sights, ported barrel and trigger kit, I've decided to do a few more things just to personalize this firearm a little (I can't leave anything alone). So far on top of the great package I got from the performance center, I've added a Talon rubberized grip, and also a few smalls cuts of "griptape" to add even more grip and ease of use to this weapon. I've also colored in a few of Smith and Wessons engravings on the gun, which really makes it pop!
*I will try to attach photos
If anybody else has this firearm and wants to share some of their mods and customizations, I'd love to check them out! I'm always looking for advice and tips from anybody who's willing to lend a word.

Welcome to the forum. I have a stock Shield 9mm. I do recommend you get a mag loader and a pinkie extension if you have seven round mags.

Mag loader definitely seems like a good idea! I was all about getting the mag extender at first, but when I actually started shooting a lot, I have a smaller, more consistent grouping using my stock 7 round mag. Weird right? I'm 6'1" so I have decent size hands as well.

Does anybody have experience with the ProMag 10 round extended magazine in these shields? Not looking to carry with it, but would sure make it nicer to shoot at the range!
