Ohio Here...
Hi... I am new to the S&W Forum, but pretty established in the Beretta Forum under the same name.
Being a former Marine MP, marksmanship and tactical firearms instructor, I fell in love with Berettas. Although I did carry a S&W while on embassy duty.
My brother loves S&Ws, and I was lucky enough to buy three guns off him. Those three guns prompted a lot of learning on my part. Now I am in love with S&Ws too. Guess an just a sucker for a nice gun.
I am the proud new owner of a 39-2, 4006, 4506-1...and I have had an old war era .38 Special revolver for awhile. What should I get next to grow the S&W collection?
Thanks for having me in the Forum.

Welcome from Wisconsin!
What should you get next? Personally, I've always kept my eyes and my options wide open. Instead of focusing on trying to find a particular gun, I have made it a point of being prepared to pounce on anything I find that fits my collection.

Welcome aboard from coastal North Carolina - spittin' distance from MCAS Cherry Point.
What should you get next to grow your collection? Well, I'd opt for something that weighed less and had a shorter barrel so I could conceal carry it inside the waistband, e.g., a compact in the 3900 series, 6900 series, or a CS model in any caliber.

It's not looking good, I just found out my son has a concert Saturday morning... Hopefully nothing will pop up for the next gathering.
Thanks...

Welcome from The Carolina Upcountry. I am a former Buckeye, born and bred in Cincinnati. Came South for the weather.
For your next Smith look at a vintage S&W revolver with a Model number. and no lock. M19 and M29 are particularly nice.

You started your smith collection with 3 really good ones that will be hard to top. I would recommend a full size m&p of your preferred caliber if you want a nice shooter. If you want pretty, you would be hard pressed to find better than a 5" 686 performance center(in my opinion). If you're in need of a solid carry gun, the shield 45 is the nicest shooting carry gun I've ever shot. Either way welcome to shooters anonymous...I mean the smith and wesson forum. Glad to have another ohioan on here.

Welcome to the forum!
I suggest a JFrame snubby. Perfect pocket gun for either a primary (light carry) or a BUG. Many to choose from, but I like the 640 Pro (stainless), have owned a 642 (442 about the same, but black color) and am eyeing a 340.
Can never have too many wheel guns. They're timeless in a modern world.
