Greetings from San Diego
Hello all from San Diego.
I mostly shoot semi-autos (Glock 32, Sig P238, Sig P239), but I'm looking to start researching revolvers for CCW.
I know the S&W 340PD is a powerful CCW, but hear it's quite a handful, so will be researching for something a bit heavier/bigger, but that can still be easily carried, and more controllable with 357 Magnum. Not sure if that combination exists .
I'm looking for a light gun that's easy to run with IWB, here in San Diego we have mountain lions sometimes, and I've seen one not too far away, so figured it might be smart to have something to carry with me out there.

Greetings from Wisconsin! There are a lot of guns that might meet your needs. Among the new/current production items that come to mind are the S&W 686 Plus 2-1/2" or 3", or any of their other medium frame all steel snubbies. Good luck.

Welcome from New Port Richey FL. Finding a short barrel all steel .357 magnum is usually fairly easy. The problem is finding the right combination of grips, frame weight, and ammo you can reasonably fire repeat follow-up shots without adjusting your grip between shots.

Welcome from East NC. There are a lot of good .357 revolvers for you to consider. Besides the excellent Smith revolvers, the Ruger SP101 is one of my personal faves.

And a...
And a Hound Dawg Howdy to you from SC!
.357s. Hmmmmmmm.
The model 686 is a an 'L' Frame that are great shooters but big for carry. The model 19 (.357) is about the same as the ubiquitous model 10 (.38 Special) and the model 66 is similar. The model 60 is a small, 5 shot 'J' frame in .357.
