This safe queen has been sitting in my safe for a few years, and is too pretty for me to carry. It is a full-house gun, with features normally not done at Novak's, and even comes with an interesting story...

The base gun is a NRM stainless Colt Government .45. Colt produced a run of special serial numbers for Novak's; namely NOVAK001 through NOVAK100, alternating blue and stainless. Wayne offered me a really low number, but I honestly don't have a particular number I collect...so I went for what I thought was cool: NOVAK007.

Built by Dustin Bonar (son of the late Joe Bonar) in 2006, it has all the usual bells and whistles: Pete Single checkering, Kart barrel, gold bead front sight, reliability and carry bevel packages, one piece beavertail and mainspring housing (The Answer), ball cuts to the slide, serrated slide top, etc. Work order scan upon request. Total package including cost of the gun was over $3,200.00. Shot by me with factory ball only at an indoor range, round count in the last 4.5 years under 750.

Shipped in Novak pistol rug with three (3) Novak magazines.

Pretty firm at $2,950.00 shipped to your dealer, MO or certified check only. Cost to duplicate now would be higher, and the special numbered guns are no longer available. Not really sure of any trades, although a NRM Colt to put away for a less intense project would be of interest in partial trade, a 3" M66, M520 NYSP, 3.5" M27, or a SIG 210.

Email for pictures and work order.
