A couple places to consider, Elk Mountain, Cheaper than Dirt, and there is a Cabelas north of Ft Worth.

Also in Dallas, there is Rays Hardware, 730 Singleton Blvd.

It is on the west side of Dallas, not a bad drive from Ft. Worth.

Hmmm Ray's Hardware sounds like my kinda place.. not too fond of the big box stores....

Thanks.. may have to see if Ray has any Old Smiffs layin around..

Fort Worth?!? Ya gots ta go ta Billy Bob's!! :D

OK, maybe you don't have to go, but it's interesting to see, and y'all ain't got nuthin' like that in FLA. ;)

A bit of a drive from Ft Worth, but Gunmasters in Plano is a good store. Bachman Pawn usually has some good things, they're in Dallas.

Ft Worth is hurting for gun stores. The largest is Elk Castle on the West side of town. They're very high, but have a consignment section. Be sure to thank them for waiting on you.

I guess the old Ft. Worth Pistol Parlor is long gone. I used to go there in the late 70s. Stuff was piled to the ceiling. I bet they never took inventory.

Elk Castle on I-30 on the West side will probably have some S&W pistols. There is also a range if you want to shoot. Winchester Gallery is unique also, but Rays Hardware and Sporting Goods is a must see.
