200 Round Drum

WOW, that's 60 percent of the weight of an unloaded, unmodified 15-22.
Don't forget that about a third of that weight is the weight of the ammo itself. And the weight of standard magazines with that capacity is almost a pound more than the 200 is. Pretty efficient, actually.

Didn't say it wasn't efficient, just that the combo add 60 percent to the weight of the firearm.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I put that 200-round drum in the same category as the SlideFire ...

Every time I sell one of my prototypes, I regret it.

You did start me thinking about what materials and configurations would make it lighter and easier to produce.

adapter

Can I ask why wouldn't u just make the adapter it looks like there is nothing to it if you have all the messurements. If u wouldn't mind would you send me a drawing with all mesurements I am sure I could make this with out any problem. Thank you

The adapter plate is the patented by A&D and licensed to Bazzoka Brothers to make the towers and sell. I would be stepping on some toes if I posted specs.

I imagine if you are technically capable of make a drum adapter then it will only take you 5 minutes to figure out the angles. Believe me, if this information was not owned, I would be producing them. :)

adapter

From my understanding is if you mqake for your own use you are not stepping on their toes. And u can change the adapter in ways to make the adapter your own and they don't make one with the mp 15 22 setup so that isn't under their pat. Thank you for your time in this. I am sure I can make one if I get my hands on a drum as the adapter fits in the molded lines on the top. And the small spring plate that holds it in place wouldn't be hard to remake in a way that is differant from thiers.making a drum and the winder would be very hard and I wouldn't try that , but those part are priced ok. The 200 price of the adapter is very high for 10 bucks of metal and plastic.

The drum is still going strong. I actually found a way to link the dummy rounds so they are easier to load them. I also replaced the plastic parts with aluminum ones.

I have not made a video. It would be boring watching me pull the trigger 203 times. :)
