FOBUS Holster

I don't have the roto-paddle but the Fobus I have work just fine. They hold the gun solidly and release it quickly. I've seen complaints about wearing the blue from a gun but can't comment there as my carry guns tend to be stainless and there I see no extra wear. The price is right and they're light. The only thing I object to is they do stick out a bit more than a leather belt holster. For me they work just fine.

By the way capt, doen't it seem counter productive to buy something and then ask for opinions? LOL

Yea kinda but i have leather but wanted a retention holster that would work with my M&P and my SD9VE and my LGS had them on sale and i could not pass that up. I do agree it does stick out more then my Tagua leather holster. Thanks for your input:D

I know there are a lot of people who don't like them, but I have several and like them. Decent holster for the price and acceptable retention. I have found that it conceals best with bulky clothing. Enjoy.

I have an older Fobus roto holster..For my Glock 23..Didn't care for it, it set to far away from my body..It's in a drawer somewhere..:)

Always been a "leather" guy until I bought my SD9VE. Thought I would give the poly holsters a try. My first purchase was a used Blackhawk CQC Serpa; I really like this holster, but it's not a concealed holster with the paddle. Liked it so much I got one for my 1911 FS 45. ;)

Also bought the Standard Fobus, SWMP model. Rides closer than the Serpa. Funny that the SD9VE trigger guard is just a touch wider than the M&P; you can tell the difference when you try each gun in the holster. Still works well enough. :)

But neither are as concealable as my DeSantis Speed Scabbard.
Made specifically for the SD series and has adjustable retention.
3 slot pancake design. My favorite for concealed under a t-shirt. :D
