What do you think of the Arsenal AK SAM7k-03 pistol w Sig brace 4 HD or woods carry?

I'd take a G20 with 15+1 180gr hard casts over an AK pistol anytime.

If you need it quickly, you can draw and fire the Glock without any further steps. You have to take the AK off safe since I know you're not crazy enough to carry it on "Fire". Sure, 30+1 154gr JSPs are superior but in that time making it ready you could have fired the Glock 2 or 3 times.

Calling it a "pistol" is merely a legal term. It has rifle weight and almost the size.

I would agree, save some money and by a PAP M92. These are factory built Yugo's by Zastava. The 20rd is definitely more convenient size wise. With the Manticore Night Brake it would be abusive indoors. At best it would make an excellent gate gun, but in all honesty it is a fun gun. With the red dot and a sling it is quite accurate and can be well controlled, but it would truly shine as an SBR - something I intend to do soon.

The SAM pistol is a poor choice for HD, and a ridiculous idea for woods carry. The forearm brace is a new commodity that is being exploited as a legal way around the SBR; I've handled several similarly configured "pistols" in .223/5.56 ... try to shoulder it and get on target quickly ... good luck. Good for a bug out bag perhaps, but very few people are skilled in short barrel firearm handling.

If you want to be a closet commando and get one for an "entry gun" THEN pay the $200 for the suppressor fee, THEN another $1K for the can, it's your bankroll. At that point you're in for ~$2,500. If you want a short AK, look at the N-Pap underfolder for ~ $599.

For HD, you'd be a lot better served with a sound 12 gauge, with a pocketful of money saved.

For woods carry, any large caliber revolver is satisfactory for two- or four-legged North American predators. S&W Mountain Guns, Ruger Hawks, the list is nearly limitless. If that's not enough firepower, then look into a .45-70 lever gun with 16" barrel.

My 2c.

You also "NEED" the light, sights, can, angled foregrip, single point sling attachment, finish it off with a Beta-mag and your ready to R&R. There is no recoil with this in 300 BLK, while you can go from 110-220gr indoors or outside which should resolve most situations 2 or 4 legged. Why? Because it's FUN!! 12 ga, 45-70 marlin are in the safe, I guess I could always carry the 500 S&W for "backup??" Enjoy. Be Safe,
