I saw on the Smith and Wesson webpage that the Performance Center is now producing a Chattanooga Shooting Supply Exclusive 442. I have to say that it is one sweet looking J Frame!!

Everything I google comes up that it was teased in October, 2015.

Does anyone know if they are on the market yet, sold out, or still to be released?

I clicked on the buy now button to see a price and it lead me to pretty much nowhere.

I've handled them -- they're nice enough, trigger is a touch better than stock but no more, the grip-clip is a gimmick I don't buy into, and the two-tone look seem a little blingy.

For my money, the less expensive and better appointed for defensive use is the 442 Moon Clip (aka 442 Pro) is a better choice.
 
I'm excited about it; doesn't take much to get me excited about a new J-frame. Poster MarkAlt has purchased one and has a thread with a photo on this forum.

As to the lack of enthusiasm shown by my forum buddy Hapworth, that simply means there is an additional 442PC out there when I want it! He's still my buddy. I DO appreciate his comments: he knows snubs.
