I have a very nice in the box Walther TPH in .22 cal.
But, it only came with one factory magazine.
Looking on GB and Ebay it seems that any Walther made .22 magazine is approaching $100 more than an aftermarket Mag.
The .25 ACP ones not so much difference.

So as it is unlikely I will pay that premium here is the question...
Anybody out there have experience/feedback on the reliability and function of any of the aftermarket TPH .22 magazines such as Triple K or Mecgar? (Before I waste any $$)

Thanks :D

If the Mec-Gar magazines are available and less expensive than "Walther" magazines I would opt for those. In many instances they make factory magazines for the major companies.

You have a gun with no magazine. I have a magazine with no gun.

If you haven’t already, maybe you could join Walther Forum and ask there. I put a post up there a couple of years back and a guy down in Alabama (IIRC) wound up having a couple of them, in great condition, for around $60 apiece. One of them had a crimp on the plastic baseplate so I just ordered a .25 magazine off of fleabay and swapped the base plate.

Factory magazines bring big money. I sold one back in June for $125.00 to a guy who was thrilled to find one.

I have two Triple K mags for my Walther PP 7.65mm and they work fine.

I found a spare factory mag for my TPH on GB. Can't remember the exact price, but I think it was around $60.
OP: does your TPH work properly? These guns are known to be problematic. Some are very ammo sensitive and others need worked on to be reliable.

Sandman4delta: I strongly suggest you contact Alpo about buying his magazine.
Alpo: If OP passes, I'm interested. ;)
