Gorgeous gun! I think of Darne at first glance, but other manufacturers produced sliding breech shotguns. It’s obviously a higher grade gun, possibly a V22. Is that yours?

I passed on a field grade Darne 20 gauge years ago and still think about it. IIRC, it was priced at $950. It had very plain wood and typical European style sling swivels. If I found one like you pictured at a decent price, I’d be on it like a hobo on a ham sandwich!![]()
It’s not a Baikal.S&Wchad; It could be a high grade BAIKAL ?? Or a German GREIFELT. ??
Good guess. Right town, wrong manufacturer...Geco. need ten characters
It’s not a Baikal.
Greifelt made similar pattern guns, so that’s an excellent educated guess. They didn’t make mine, but you’re in the neighborhood (hint #3)!
Hoening Rotary shotgun.![]()
Got a guess on this one? Unique piece of machinery!
Nope, but close. Then it's got to be a SIMSON ??![]()
Nope, but close.
Final hints: The made Lugers during WWII. As I eluded to earlier, they WERE in Suhl Germany during WWII and they’re still producing high end guns today.
Nope, not J. P. Sauer. Can't be a Sauer is it ?? If it is, that's really a surprise.![]()
Nope, not J. P. Sauer.
I’ll make it easy... They’re one of the more popular makers of shotguns used by competitive shooters.
