M&P .40 California State Parks engraved at CDNN

They still have 20 new in the box pistols, as well as "Excellent" condition M&Ps in stock. The issued pistols have a sticker on top of the slide that I didn't see in the new one. The new ones include a second magazine. I couldn't resist picking up one of the issued "Excellent" pistols. They charged less than $7 for shipping to my FFL, so not a bad deal in my opinion.

That's some good deals. Funny observation, with California being so big on gun safety, these are all non-manual safety guns.
Are these any different from the civilian version in any way besides the markings?
The 4006TSW CHP was built to their specs.

I say buy them all; that way you're encouraging the state to sell all their surplus guns, not to mention chipping away at this year's deficit of $68 billion. Every little bit helps.

the 4006 chp models were better guns!
I pulled the trigger. Flat rate shipping and no sales tax makes it worth it. I wish they came with 3 mags instead of 2 though. I'll need to pick one up.
Got mine today. Very nice. Night sights still lit.
I figured out CDNN probably pulled the mag that was in the pistol, since the electropenciled serial number on the "new" mag I bought from CDNN is only 38 off from mine. So it came with 2 instead of 3 mags. Gotta love capitalism.
Anyway, I like it. The markings are cool looking IMHO.
