The SIG P365 has morphed & evolved faster and into more sub categories than any other pistol I know of. Just 5 or 6 years ago, Sig had one model and now I have lost track! Along the line, they have come out with slightly different markings, small changes, parts upgrades, etc. so I would think it is possible to find two identical models that are slightly different in appearance.
I bought my P365 about 16 months or so after the original hit the market. I wanted to wait until all the minor kinks were all worked out - which Sig did incredibly rapidly BTW. I now have over 7,000 rounds through mine and as Sig suggests I have swapped out the springs and the striker assy. I had zero issues along the 7,000 round way, but for $100 (bought the parts and did it myself) it was prudent just for peace of mind. I saved all the original parts as an emergency back up.
