Probably 20 yrs ago I acquired a Mossberg 152 .22LR rifle. I cleaned it up and put a $10 scope on it because I thought it kind of looked period correct. Turns out it’s a pretty accurate little gun. I keep it at the cabin and kill the muskrats when they move into my pond and start damaging the banks. They make it difficult to mow. I’ve tried researching it a few times. I only come up with the model that has the fold down forearm. Mine doesn’t have it. Never did. No attachment point for it. So I’m wondering if anyone else has info on this rifle.

That’s just it. I believe my gun has the correct stock. It is definitely factory and fits perfect. I found one mention online where someone said “ most of them had folding firearm”. I know some had a K in model number too. Maybe that’s the difference

I once was a Mossberg Collector. The Model 152s I encountered all had fold down forearms. The first ones fold down forearms were wood and the later ones had black plastic ones.
There is a Mossberg Collectors Forum on line that you should contact for information.

The stock on your 152 has had the hinge for the fold down forearm cut off and recontoured. Earlier versions had a wood forearm and later ones were plastic. Made from 1948-1957.

The only difference between the the 152 and152K are the sights.

KO41, that’s kinda what I was thinking. But whoever did it knew what they were doing. No signs of BUBBA’s woodworking……. Or just maybe it’s a priceless one off factory prototype?
