Infiltrated and Impoverished by Aliens

Our beloved country, the United States of America,
has been infiltrated and impoverished by aliens —
more than 90 million of them freeloading on us,
to the tune of $33 billion a year.

I’m talking about dogs.

Every morning as the sun rises these aliens walk some of us
among others of their kind, for two, yeay, unto three miles.

No walking for me with my cat but cat food seems to get more expense every month plus with cat litter and vet bills I pay my share of pet maintenance. However I wouldn't sell her for $10,000

I buy my cat tuna instead of canned cat food as it's only a dime more. He seems to enjoy it more.

Had a Japanese pal in NYC who told me of a recently arrived compatriot who, when asked how he liked the food in the US, said, "I like most of it well enough, but that Kitty brand canned tuna is awful!"

It is true our family house heathen, a Doberman, demands expensive dog food in quantity. Food for my personal support cat, who is impossibly cute and had has conversation with me is also expensive. But we feel they are worth it, and they are much better behaved than some of our friends and/or neighbors children.

I'd probably pay my share of that to avoid most people in favor of most critters. The transplant folks have discouraged having a cat because of some odd immunity issues, and Rosie has her own way of discouraging them. Ted would probably do ok with a kitty, but he tries to interact with them the same way he plays with dogs and that does not work with kittehs.

Instead of joining a gym....

I run behind this guy, every morning. Lost 60 pounds six years ago when I got him. Have zero problems keeping it off.

Rise and shine at 0530. Quigley will not take no for an answer.

Plus, he listens well and never complains!
