I'm no expert on the movies, but in the book it was a Beretta .25. I always assumed it was a 418 - very similar pattern to the 1934, of course.
Where can one find extra mags besides EBay? I have a C&R that hasn’t been used in years except for some online vendor discounts. So that saves me the transfer fee.
