Beretta 1934 Surplus Arrived

AFAIK AIM does not accept C&R. In addition their list of receiving FFL’s are very slim around here.

AIM does accept C&Rs. And as to the ban on imports by the GCA of 1968 it was for twenty years and expired in 1988. Before 1988 an individual could not even receive ammo or reloading components directly as I recall.

I'm no expert on the movies, but in the book it was a Beretta .25. I always assumed it was a 418 - very similar pattern to the 1934, of course.

In the book it was a Beretta 418, or Panther. I believe it was substituted for a 1934 in the movie, probably because the prop house didn’t have a 418.

Where can one find extra mags besides EBay? I have a C&R that hasn’t been used in years except for some online vendor discounts. So that saves me the transfer fee.

I have a Seecamp, 84BB and Bodyguard 2.0, all in 380. Don’t really need any new guns, so tell me not to buy another, please. :)

Original mags are needed for the 1934 Beretta. May find them on GB sometimes. The slide locks open on the machined steel follower as there is no slide lock on the gun. The finger extension floor plate is thicker than after market mags that have thin sheet metal floor plates. Some cheap after market mags have plastic extension pinky rests to fill the gap but are best avoided. Maybe AIM might have some extras.

Cue manic laughter from all the enablers here, followed by ghostly whispers of, "Do it! Do it!"

My sole 1934 is WWII vintage. A peculiarity it exhibits is an overlapping slide roll stamp which resulted in the underscored "o" being superposed on the "1" in 1934.
