Hooters?

Use to enjoy them. It was a long time ago admittedly.

Lived in St Petersburg, close to the home of Hooters.
A local Hooters was close to where I worked at the time. Every couple of weeks several of us went there for lunch.
Waitresses were good looking, attentive and pleasant. Service was good and prompt, the burgers were great and beer cold. Never really been much of a fan of wings so can’t judge.

I guess it varies with location and management.

Time often takes a toll on theme restaurants. Novelty wears off, customer base declines and the quality goes downhill.

I’ve gone to one in different cities from time to time. Sadly, compared to past experiences in St Petersburg, they were all a disappointment. Less attractive waitresses, mediocre food and a generally run down atmosphere.

We are down to one location in Vegas. I'm unsure when the one nearest me in the valley went away, but I probably ate there 20 years ago.

Used to frequent them fairly often with friends. Then they got rid of the one item on their menu I liked, the ham and cheese sandwich. Was not worth going there any more after that. I do still have the Hooters Honolulu t-shirt I picked up when Mom and I went to see my sister and the kids. Her husband was a Marine stationed at Pearl back then.

I’ll bet part of the reason is because they can’t find enough slim girls without a bunch of disgusting metal in their face and a bunch of trashy tats to work there.

I’ve always been hooked up with a good enough looking woman that I didn’t have to go there to window shop.

And the food was not good.

Have only been to one three times. Excellent hamburgers.
I imagine Political Correctness has taken it’s toll, making themselves less socially acceptable to the activists and general public.

Hooters has closed many of it's stores nationwide because of a lack of business. I believe there used to be three, maybe four Hooters in Utah at one time, now there is only one according to the Hooters web site.
