Whats your latest purchase? "guns/accessories"

Picked up another K22 Masterpiece Saturday (3/29) at the Hampton Va. show. This one I will shoot as the first was just too nice. Decent deal, cash sale and went through the State Police check. Original grips stamped matching to the gun. Serial 128691 dates to 1951 a year after I was born.

grips, trigger, reddot base, pull ring and can installed....

Ruger-Marlin Model 1894 Joins Remington-Marlin Model 1895

Ruger-Marlin Model 1894, .44 Remington Magnum.
Used, but mechanically perfect. I’ll need to steam out 2 or 3 indentations in the butt stock.
At $700 even, I think I did alright.
It won’t replace the Browning 1892 (Miroku, Japan) also in .44 Rem. Mag., I foolishly traded away years ago, but I’m still happy.

Model 1894 Alongside Model 1895 in .45/70 Gov’t

A replacement paddle from HOLSTER BUILDER for an UNCLE Mikes kydex from the last century whose original paddle had failed and was no longer available. The HOLSTER BUILDER unit fit perfectly and my 3-36s and 442 are glad to have an old friend back.

A 1909 Argentine Mauser action, 24 inch tapered octagon barrel from McGowen and a nice English walnut stock blank. The beginnings of a custom rifle. The caliber will be 25/06

Latest is a 4506-1 VAT prefix. Still can’t find a date yet for it. But it’s in great shape. Waiting on the straight back grips to come as I find them more aesthetically pleasing. Hope to get out on the range to feel like Sonny Crockett.

Returning home from signing tax forms, stopped at my LGS to use the restroom. Walked out with an Airweight and 1791 pocket holster. No, didn't need it, but fellows, it just spoke to me.
