Maybe for speed loader and clearance for ejecting empties. 😎

Those are very nice!

I like a grip adaptor depending on the gun and the vintage.

Would I put a Tyler T on a triple lock? No.

Does a pre war adaptor like appropriate on a RM? Absolutely.

The M15 was our issued weapon in the ‘70s but we were not allowed to put Stags on. Too bad, they look great.

I like the color of the red stag a little better than elk stag, so when I saw on Instagram that Zane had some, I placed my order. He's made some beautiful Roper style stocks for N Frame for me as well as some fancy walnut Ruger single action grip panels. He's a master craftsman, maybe not as well known as some but top tier work and fitting.

I have a set of stags on my 1911 and a set of sheep horn on a Ruger Blackhawk, but for my S&W revolvers, I REALLY like Ahrends slimmed down retro target stocks. They fit my hand like no others I've tried. I sent them some fancy walnut they did for $10 extra and I put them on an engraved M-66. I'm not eligible to post pics yet, but the package really looks great.

Very classy looking grips.

Just curious will you need to inlet the back of stag grips to accommodate the metal flaps ? Sometimes on wood it will indent or I see a mod.

I am guessing you are asking about the tabs of a grip adapter? If you remove any material around where the grip adapter tabs wrap the frame, you are weakening the bond. All of my shooting revolvers have Magnas and grip adapters, NONE have been relieved. I do not understand how a relief could help?
