Hello Folks!!! New Member from Ontario, Canada

Welcome!

Is ammo very expensive in Canada? Is reloading popular there?
Thank You PatriotX!! Ammo has certainly taken an increase over the pass couple of years. Well, I'll give you a quick example from exactly 2 weeks ago and at that time, I bought this stuff here....1) Hornady Critical Defense 12G 00Buck 2-3/4" @ $26.95 2) Federal 10G Power Shok Slugs @ $25.99 vs the Federal 10G Premium Copper Slugs @ $33.95 3) Federal 10G Speed Shok Steel Waterfowl @ $52.99 vs Federal Speed Shok Steel 2-3/4" #BBB @ $30.99 That was a HEFTY 10 mins in the shop!!! Lol...As for reloading, it's most definitely picking up steam. I used to reload everything, but the last several years, I was just too busy with work and life, but now that I'm retired, after that price increase, I'll be getting back into it, for sure!!!

Welcome from a Canadian born member now living in the Chicago area! 🇨🇦
Ah!! Take Off, eh, ya hoser!! Hahaha....Well, hsguy, you wouldn't like it much now, after this week!! And that's all I'll say about that. Thanks for the Welcome!!!

Welcome!
Where are you in Ontario?
Where do you shoot?

I used to belong to the Burlington Rifle & Revolver Club. I think they’re still going strong, last I heard. I’ve shot at a lot of other clubs in Ontario when I was competing up there.
Thanks 6string!! I now live just outside Long Point, which in case you don't know, it's next door to Port Dover, Turkey Point, Port Rowan. Lake Erie is right there!!! I use to shoot up in Waterloo at Colby/Shooter Choice. But now that I've moved down here, I'm going to look into East Elgin or St. Thomas. I just looked up Burlington Rifle & Revolver Club and it looks like things are going good for them. They have a 4.2* from (94) reviews, so there ya go.

Welcome from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! I grew up in Ontario ... born in Hamilton and lived in Scarborough, Uxbridge, Peterborough, Guelph, Cambridge, and probably a few other spots over the years. When I worked as a geologist we did a number of jobs on the lake out of Port Rowan. Pretty part of the country.

Are you a Stompin' Tom fan?
