Just purchased and started shooting my rifle. From previous shooting of rifles and shotguns, I know that I will need a recoil pad for the back of this rifle. I have looked online, and have yet to see anything made specifically for the FPC. Has anyone had any luck with putting a recoil pad on? If so, which one?

I also will be needing a hard case for my FPC so I can take my rifle traveling on vacation trips. Any information would be appreciated!! Thanks in advance!

You won't need a recoil pad. There's not a ton of aftermarket parts for this gun. Taccom3g has the only stock replacement I know of but no pad and out of stock atm. If you really want one, you might have to figure out how to make and affix your own.

I know this is a bit old, but I have the TacCom3G buffer replacement in my FPC. It's not like a night and day difference, but it is a noticeable difference. I also have their scope mount that adds pic rail onto the receiver.
Is the scope mount working for you? What I mean is... does it shoot POA/POI as mounting a scope/optic anywhere but where it's designed for due to being a folder could introduce alignment issues.
Thanks for your feedback.

Since it mounts on the barrel, why wouldn't it hold POA/POI? I would bet 95% of all FPC owners mount a scope or red dot to their gun and not one have posted problems caused because the unit folds up.

This is not mounted to the barrel as it's attached behind where the break point is. If it were mounted on the barrel side... I wouldn't have asked.
I attached an LPVO to the pic-rail barrel section of mine and it does keep POA/POI. My question to the fellow member is concerning TacCom3G's idea.

so I was able to get to a range today and the results were not great @New2S&W77

Part of it was very much the optic; on either rail section there were problems centering reticle to the bore laser but it was worse on the TacCom3G rail. On the front rail I could actually center it but the windage adjustment was damned near max left which is why I think the optic was NOT helping things. On the TacCom3G at full left it was still pretty off to the right. Both ran out of room moving up to meet the reticle. I was at 50 yards.

I plan to see if I somehow skewed it when I tightened down the six screws., and it's odd because I used a straight edge and there was no rock on either side of the rails, but it is what it is. Bummer. I guess I'll move my big Holosun 510C to this gun since the optic will need to be so far forward. I plan to try another scope that is better than Premium Chinesium and see how it goes, too. Thankfully I didn't pay for it lol, a 3X prism.

I will stop recommending this scope mount unless a time comes where I can reconcile with it being centered better

Thanks for your report.
Try using a cantilever mount but turn it around... the eye relief is perfect for me and there's room to adjust for variations both on the pic-rail and the main tube if others want to try. Good luck with your experiments.

I'd replied to this but their system banned my account as a spammer lol (my email is protected).

I believe I said that I'd once thought of this and then completely forgot, and so I thanked you for the reminder and I need to try this!

Yeah, my account was kicked out too but I'm good now. The cantilever invert idea came to me just as I gave up and started repackaging it... it laid backwards and I noticed when reaching for the box. Good luck and keep us posted!

I apologize for that. Yes, I think there is something toxic in your email provider as several of your posts have been flagged by the system.

I put on one. See my reply buried somewhere on the site. Pridefend Synthetic Latex Rubber Slip-On Recoil Reducing Pad. Works great

Thank you for suggesting this. I just purchased a Pridefend for my FPC like you suggested, and it fits great. I bought the medium size on Amazon.
