36 & 36-1 (3" barrel only) = J frame 5 shot 38 specials. Pinned barrels on both. The professionals will come along and tell you about shipping / manufacture dates, maybe if you provide the serial numbers.
What are the grips on the first one?
I can't read the manufacturer, but they are commercial aftermarket.
