I have a Mod 19-3 and would like to know manufacture date as well as any available information. S/N 2K46522
Smith & Wesson may have additional information on your revolver. To check you will have to pay the fees and order a factory letter.

Welcome to the Forum! Model 19s are very popular with Forum members, so you're in good company. You didn't include any information about your revolver (condition, barrel length, blue/nickel finish, stocks, etc.), and we're always curious. If you could post a couple of pictures of your 19-3 we would like to see them. Enjoy!

Welp, illl go!
Mine is a 19-3 Combat Magnum 😎
Serial Number 4K24323
Which, if not mistaken may have been produced in 1973
Does that sound about right?

Wow, that's a stunner! Barely a turn line and a beautiful blued finish. Looks like you handle it with 'museum gloves", LOL! Do you ever shoot it? According to the "SCSW 5th Ed.", 1973 is correct. My only 19-3 is part of a Texas Ranger Commemorative set from 1973, and it's a shooter because I'm not a commemorative collector. Enjoy!

One of my most accurate, and most favorite to shoot 19-3 SN 9K77518 ——> late 1976 <——
I am of the habit of only shooting 357 through it...a real work horse.
