Screwdriver dating

Working from memory and some photos, but it kind of looks like the S&W SATs that were issued with the one of the recent 44 Magnum (50th Anniversary?) commemoratives...

The SAT that shipped with that pre-war O/D would have been the small one with the nickel knurled handle and the stepped shaft (far left one on the below chart).

I have a very similar SAT as the one pictured, it came with a 50th anniversary model 29. The only difference in mine and the one shown is mine Has rounded end on the handle with the typical S&W hole in the end.

Marcello, it’s kinda strange to me that your SAT doesn’t have the hole in the top of the handle. That makes me wonder.

Larry after that Richard and Terry reminded me that I had already seen the same SAT with the 44 of the fiftieth anniversary I sent the screwdriver back to the sender, I had completely forgotten about this thing, but the fact that I had already seen it fooled me into believing that I had already seen it in some pre-war revolvers
