These are in my "other stuff" box - The J frames are worth some $$$?

I was going to put them on a 3" Model 36 but for that much, off they go.

Any $$$ info on the K frames?

I'm seeing EBay in their future.

The J-frame smooth targets are selling for $90-$130 on EBay. I think Schutz5 may be referring to finger groove combat grips.

These K's will bring more but still not FG combat prices. Variables are condition, grain, etc.

Forget EBay, sell them here.

I have the checker model that you posted on my 442, very nice feel, the only issue is when I went to qualify with it I never tried it and I had a HKS speedloader jam between the wood and the cylinder. I now use speedstrips. but they are great grips for a small gun

Thank you for the piece of knowledge very valuable

If you are happy with them, that is the important part.
They look a little anemic to me. Picked these up on eBay for $82.50 for model 19-3

Your "Boomerang" grips are called Bananas. $60.00 is a fair price in good condition.
Unfortunately the old man sold the other grips shortly after I left yesterday I asked if he had anything else outdoors wise he said all he has left is a model 29 he will die with

I second s&wchad's response. I have never seen any after-market grip maker in Thailand, U.S. or any other country install the silver washers behind the medallions. I have only found this hardware on S&W factory grips. Incidentally, I also found a checkered grip like yours at an estate sale. Paid $10 for it and sold it for just under $100 on eBay.

I agree those are factory J frame grips. Don’t recall ever seeing them shipped on a gun but do recall and have purchased them from a store accessory rack. The numbers on the inside were not factory marked. I believe you got them half price of current value.

They look just like the grips I have on my pair of 63-1's. J Frame Sq Butt Targets, one smooth and one checkered. They were an after-the-sale optional part. I think I got these for $60 & $80 on epay.

I believe the "banana" grips for K/L frames are properly called "Round Butt Targets". They are very desirable to some collectors (if you like them you LOVE them) and smooth versions are more rare, with nicely grained smooth versions bringing $200 - $300 on epay. I bought the grips below for about $200 without a screw.
