So my son called the other day and said "hey pop...got the day off, want to hit the range?" Of course the worst day at the range is better than the best day mowing the lawn so I packed up my range bag with my M&P 2.0 Compact and several boxes of 9mm FMJ, several splatter targets and off we went. What I didn't tell him until we got to the range and the RSO always asks "what are you shooting today" (so they can see the ammo if it is any caliber that might be lead nose). My son says 9mm, I said 9mm and 44 Remington Magnum. My son did a double take but grinned all the way to the lane.

When I sold my older M29-2 several years ago he had said then he wished we had an opportunity to shoot it because he just wanted to be able to say that he has shot the worlds most powerful handgun. He didn't know I had replaced it with this nice one shipped in 1979 per Roy.

So shot up a bunch of targets with our 9's (his Glock 19, mine S&W 2.0 Compact). Then I pulled out the Model 29-2, I told Andy...go ahead and have at it, load up 6 of those American Eagle (Federal) 240 grainers and see how you like it..............short video attached........he tried both double action (long heavy pull but did fine) and the video is the last shot and he can be heard saying "man that IS a handful".

Made my Day..................always fun at the range with family!
