I am currently reloading for a 432 UC Ti 32 H&R Magnum. What reloads are you using for your 432 or 632.

My Current load is:

Bullet: Hornady XTP 85 gr
Primer: CCI
Powder: Alliant Unique 3.2 gr
Velocity: ~1000 fps

Any information is welcome.

The load you listed is straight from the Hornady manual, but their velocity was using a 6.5" test barrel. It'll be well under 800 fps from your 432.

I've loaded 4.4 to 4.8 gr BE-86 with the 85 gr XTP. BE-86 has a similar burn range to Unique. I expect 5.1 gr BE-86 will be around 1000 fps which is still plenty safe for this cartridge.

S&W 432 UC Ti 1-7/8" barrel:

.32 H&R Mag Federal 85 gr XTP (factory):
832 fps to 878 fps = 851 fps (20 round avg)

.32 H&R Mag Federal Hydra Shok Deep 85 gr (factory):
869 fps to 916 fps = 897 fps (20 round avg)

.32 H&R Mag 85 gr Hornady XTP:
1.070" case length (Starline, new)
1.330" c.o.a.l.
Federal #100
BE-86:
4.4 gr = 874 fps
4.5 gr = 881 fps
4.6 gr = 904 fps
4.7 gr = 934 fps (best accuracy)
4.8 gr = 941 fps

Any idea of using cast lead alloy bullets? Folks who can't spell ("Cast Boolits" forum) discuss this round a lot, also on "Art and Science of Bullet Casting" there has been a lot of discussion.
I like 95-105 gr bullets with a charge of w231. I won't quote from my admittedly spotty memory, but it's somewhere in the 4 gr range. I got the load from a well known loader called beagle as well as my longtime friend Dale53.
I can look them up if need be.

.32 H&R mag Ruger LCR loaded with MP molds 99 gr hard cast DEWC 4.1 gr Unique, standard small pistol primer. 1030 fps. This load makes 1016 fps in my 3" SP101 .327 mag.

Unless you are shooting an H&R .32 H&R Magnum revolver do not hesitate to load book maximum loads. The factory loads are so mild compared to what this cartridge is capable of that it is ridiculous! I won't give you any data, but the standard load I shoot in my Ruger SP101 with 115gr. cast bullets is just below 1400 FPS. For my S&W 631 I keep the loads to about 1100 FPS, but that probably is not necessary.

The .32 H&R Magnum is a true magnum cartridge if loaded correctly! I am far from the only one who has had this experience with the cartridge.

The Hornady velocities are optimistic. You may get 1000 fps from a 6-1/2" inch solid test barrel, but from a short barrel revolver would be very much less.

I load 3 grains of Bullseye with the 85 XTP in the .32 S&W Long at 1.175" OAL in R-P cases with CCI 500. I get 900 fps from a 3-inch S&W Model 30 having a B-C gap of pass 0.005 / hold 0.006. Pressure was measured at 16,800 psi in a solid test barrel with strain gage and Oehler M43PBL. This would be a very mild start load for .32 H&R.
