Favorite snubbie?

A Mod. 36 (no dash) pocket carry many, many years, in Apr. of 24 I bought a 642 PC also in my pocket with a DeSantis Nemesis and the 36 is in the nightstand.

As I understand it from contributed research, Crawford wore one of the Stetson fedoras, at least for a while. He changed to a narrower hat band later in the series. While the grey fedora with my pair of 642's is a Stetson, it's a modern Chatham model. The others are American-made Broner fedoras (they also offer Chinese-made versions).

Also Broderick used a M10 snub, and I've only owned J-frames (and a SP101DAO for quite a few years, which I eventually sold to a family member).
 
A Model 36 no dash was my favorite snub carry for quite a few years. Then Ruger came out with the .32 H&R magnum with the Burnt Bronze colors. M36 sits on my night stand now. I do have a couple other light weight short barreled revolvers that I like and carry sometimes: a .22WMR Taurus and two Charter Arms with 3" and 2" which I think both are .357/.38 special. They all are reliable in DA. The Charter Arms guns are a tad difficult to cock the hammer into SA. The .32 H&R Magnum from Ruger is my new favorite carry revolver.

My mom once said that she blamed herself for me entering LE because she let me watch that TV show as a youngster. Not true, because I watched all the cop and private eye shows back then. ;)
 
Long ago I carried a 642 but it was pushed out by my 686+ which was later relegated to carrying while snake head fishing and I started carrying my M&P .40 full time which I carry to this day. But the 686+ got shelved for fishing by my 624.

I had one of these. It’s in my picture of J-Frames a ways back in this thread. I gave it to my Godson. After he saw it he wanted it. I figured why should he wait until I croak to get it? Now I miss it. I’m feeling the need to carry my 3” 36. Maybe that will ease my missing the 60. If I see another I’ll probably buy it . Some how it seams I’m never happy with what I have. I guess I’m an addict.
 
My 360J was my favorite for several years, but the 432 UC is my current favorite. I like the little cartridge so I picked up a 32 Single Six, then a second Bisley Single Six.
 
Picked up my 442 UC today. I like it! Wouldn't of known about it without starting this thread. Time to load up some 110 and 125's +P's and head to the range.
Might add a .357 snubbie to the collection before the year is out.

Great little rig for life around our farm. I keep it loaded with two rounds of snake-shot (copperheads abound down in Cackalacky) and three Speer GD Short Barrels, then SLs in an old M1 Carbine mag pouch w/ more JHPs (coyotes too).

Pistol and reloads also drop easily into a butt-pouch, which the Millenials and Zoomers have made style-acceptable again when worn slung over the shoulder (aka a sling-bag) lol.

I regularly carry either a 640-1 or 66-1 snub depending on my mood that day. love them both, carry an hks spped loader with the 66-1 and a speed strip with the 640-1
