My latest purchase was a LugerMan's replica of the Model 1907 US Military Test Trials Luger in .45 acp caliber. It shoots GREAT!!!
 
In firearms my new S&W Mod. 69 Combat Magnum.
In milsurp collectables, a collection of Bayonets and Military Knives.

Kidd "Trigger Job Kit" and a few other bits ordered. ... This is my second time around for this Ruger 22-Charger. The first time around build morphed into its own firearm and all the original Ruger parts were able to be reassembled. I should have put it into my sons hands as soon as it had been reassembled. Too late now... build 2 is alive and well on its way. "This one will not get all the fine goodies like its brother" I said. ... I have trouble believing these words. The struggle is real. I hear the voices of the RFC Enablers saying "Order the parts, and they will come." I have no doubt that they will.
 
Ruger LCP Max. It's going to replace my old and tired KelTec P3AT.

The Ruger is much nicer, better build quality, usable sights, and last round hold open. As a bonus, it's got a tritium front sight - didn't realize it came with it when I ordered it.

Well today I received;
600 rounds of .38 Spl.
A new boot grip for the 638 I got last week.
The new M&P 2.0 flat trigger kit.
1 set of cheap K frame target grip to rework someday.
 
LCP Max .380 for my Lovely Bride. For Mother's Day. What can I say...I'm an incurable romantic.
 
In the last two weeks I have purchased a nickel Model 49 from an auction site and a 1970 C-series Belgium Browning Hi-Power 9mm at a gun show. The 49 has the most blue I have ever seen on a S&W extractor of all my Smith revolvers looks like a very low usage gun. Hard to photograph nickel. The 49 with taxes, fees and shipping set me back $519 total. The Hi-Power has 56 years of usage with sharp edge wear on the slide and frame. Has some fine scratches on the slide above the slide stop. Probably a previous owner tried to pry the stop out. There is a slight trick to getting it out. The dealer had $950 on the Hi-Power, I offered him $850 which with tax would have been $909 OTD. I about fell over when he said he would take $825 tax included for it OTD. I have never had a dealer take less than an offer usually they will try for more. Thanks to Two- Bit Cowboy for checking the 49 on the j frame data base and telling me April 1983 for it. By the way , took the Hi-power home, field stripped it and cleaned semi-congealed oil and grease out of it. Grabbed a 100 round box of Winchester white box 9mm 115 fmj and went to the range. Wasn't planning to buy anything today, but couldn't pass up a smokin' deal on a P365 Tacops at the LGS. Gun, 4 mags, TLR7-X, extra threaded barrel and Herrington Arms comp for $525 OTD... I'm interested to see if the comp makes any difference... it's a true expansion chamber comp as opposed to just ports, so???

I just found a second early HP in the same week as my last one! This one is a 6” 1963 revolver I picked up at a gun show over the weekend. I traded a late model S&W revolver with the IL that I had $600 in.

Here are a couple of pictures of the two of them together.
