M10 snubbed

Who doesn't like a Mod 10 snub? I find a Tyler T Grip to be a benefit, allowing a better hold.

I have two, one relatively old, one relatively not old. Both very cool. The older one is slightly older than me. Still shoots very well indeed.
I might have a problem with these things.
Specifically Model 10 snubs (2"), I am without.

Your picture and description have my curiosity radar working overtime.
You say it has a four-screw frame and I can just make out the fourth screw in the single picture you posted. So far, so good.
But it clearly has the left-hand threads on the extractor rod. So, it has to be either a Model 10-2 or 10-3. But I can't tell from the picture which barrel profile it has. Would you be kind enough to tell us what MOD marking is in the yoke cut? The serial number would also be nice to have.

I only have one 10-5, but I want one with the half moon front sight and either round or square butt.

Post war long action with a bit of embellishment! Shipped October 1947.
Model 10 no dash (birth year gun) shipped December 1959 and all scratched up! Even the stocks.

My problem (addiction) is with the Chiefs Special and Terrier..... But I will not be without a Model 10.

I've always wanted a 2 inch round butt K frame. The closest I've come is a Taurus 605, but I'm still on the lookout.

Tried numerous grips for the S&W snub nose revolvers, both factory and aftermarket. I keep coming back to the original S&W magna stocks and Tyler T grips. Throw in a vintage Bucheimer cross draw leather holster and I'm ready to watch Dragnet reruns.

The M&P 4" is in good company now with a Model 64 2" and I would like to locate a nice Model 10 snubbie for the mix.
I have a SB and a RB, the sq is my fav.

Not a snub M10, but close. M64-2.

August 1950 pre-10 M&P 2". 5 screws. All numbers match. Factory stocks put away for safe keeping, Thai grips for shooting.
