I would duplicate some guns in a heartbeat. What keeps me from it is duplicating the cost. I really like M27's @ 3.5" & 5".
Some of the 1911's were nuts on the initial buy. I just can't see duplicating them. I like Belgium Browning Safari's. I may duplicate one of those

Improved Model 56, of course. The first, cosmetically challenged, was still a steal at $155. I trade for the second some years later at a common worth of about $450-500.

Looking back, adding a pair of 10/22's, a pair of Pietta Colt Navy 36cal BP's, a pair of 22LR Wranglers, a pair of P365XL's, and a pair of TX22's. More pairs than I thought I had.

Guns I wouldn't mind having duplicates of are my 686, and a model 10 or similar K frame. Third place is a model 36.

I can’t stop buying 4” Highway Patrolmans, I think I have a dozen or so. Also, West German Sig P220, P225, P226, P228, and P229s. In total, I probably have close to 30, maybe more. I probably need to see a psychiatrist.

I have two S&W m13s of different barrel lengths; I would like to find another such and make it a 3 inch, round butt version. For my own use.

I just bought my second M25-5 with 4 inch barrel. Now I have one blued and one nickel. Multiple M27's and 29's the list is long.

My brother got me hooked on the one is none, two is one.
So far I have 7 different pistols with brothers...
He had a SP101 and I had just picked up one for a very good price a couple of years ago,
so I gave it to him on his Birthday last month.
Then he showed me his S&W model 15 collection....

Been there, done that. I have two Springfield EMPs, my principle carry gun. I have two Makarovs. I have three 686 7shot snubbies. Plus numerous repeats of collector-type guns. The above are working guns.
If I can go out and buy another gun just like it I see no reason to have 2 of the same. But I have a whole bunch that are fairly similar.

I had a friend who only buy something if it was mint, then he would look something in less condition to shoot, of course the second was as nice as the first.

Ruger Kodiak Backpacker...sold as a TALO exclusive. One in 44 Magnum and one in a 41 Magnum.
I contacted TALO and I was told there were less than 1500 of the 44's manufactured. No one seems to know how many 41's were made but likely no more than 500.
If anyone does know, please cite your source.

No need for a psychiatrist. Many of us here identify this forum as a type of 'group therapy'. Some of the longer term members have even succeeded at filing claims of the associated costs and fees encountered along the path of 'recovery'.

I wouldn’t describe this as “love”, but the S&W M&P’s and model 10’s that are snubs I am very fond of. I “love” Jesus and my family.I have a thing for 4" 29s/629s, pre MIM. Here are a few....
First post, a 586, two 686’s and two model 41’s. One model 41 has a Clark Custom barrel and an ultra dot. I just got it and hope to shoot it tomorrow.
