Picked this one up from a buddy. I know very little about Victorys. This one is stamped US NAVY on left side of top strap.

Quite presentable looking early Victory...Mid 1942 I would guess without looking deeper....It has just enough honest use to be a nice example without abuse.

Well done, super nice example. I've got Serial # V 146627 ship date 11/42 so yours is a bit earlier.

A friend of mine has one nust like that that he bought cheap off of somebody a few years ago. It was in near new condition. We were shooting it one day, and I was impressed by the overall quality of the build, smooth DA trigger, and it’s surprising accuracy. It shot the 2 types of ammo we had exactly to the sights too. I offered to buy it from him on the spot for a more than fair price. Which he refused with a chuckle.
Just like he has each of the 3 times I have tried to get him to sell it to me since then.
I even bumped my previous offer up $100. No dice.
