Spyderco knives - did a bit of research this morning and learned quite a bit!

Spyderco Resilience for the win. It is fairly big by most folder standards but it works like a charm. I carried mine for four years, then the blade was worn too much and I made my own blade to fit the handle.

Next time around, I hope to get one again.

The handle of the Endura I carry daily for the last 20 years is made of FRN plastic (fibreglass-reinforced nylon). Looks new after 20 years of carrying it, and not using it but rarely as it's a SD knife. I carry a SAK hiker for day to day cutting chores [ and then mostly the small blade leaving the big blade razor sharp for heavy duty cutting.

I had a police model when I worked LE that I absolutely hated due to it being so slippery when the hands were sweaty. 440 polished stainless steel for handle material? No thank you.
