I like the touch with the shock absorbers for stability in vertical , but zero thought in offset gun in 12.7 cal and the spinning wheel that did happen !.

The above is why when you see a DShK (dushka) mounted on a pickup, aka a 'technical,' it's only good for a few rounds before catastrophic dismount. Imagine trying such with a Mother Duece.
