Ah yea……when I see a shiny chrome/nickel revolver “reduced corrosion” is the first thing that comes to my mind. Has nothing at all to do with being glued to our 13” B/W TV watching the Lone Ranger with his snazzy nickel 6-guns as a kid.

Gonna do some research and try to find out if it was an LEO gun. Lots of folks in the south and southwest liked the nickel to reduce corrosion. It would be nice if it had belonged to an officer.
