Local hardware store sent me a new customer this morning. I was in to pick up a new Milwaukee tool they ordered for me. Then an out of towner came in for something and said his VW was leaking coolant. I was at the counter paying for that tool and one employee there I know showed him me and said talk to me. I looked at it and told him water pump having it towed to my shop. He saw I was right calling for a tow which is covered by his car insurance. I took him to my shop. He seen it after I shown it to him. Asked him when the timing belt was changed also and said put that in too. Also said do an oil change too. Going to be happy to get it back this afternoon and seen I was honest to him. He leaves on Friday

Have to admit, when I read “VW” and “coolant” I was a bit confused. Mainly because when someone mentions “VW” I think of my ‘62 V-dub that was my first car.
I’m guessing they’ve come a long way since then…..(yes I’m old…)
