Turn it over, I would like to see where you removed the gold emblem. Thought about taking mine off, but did not want to mess up the finish. Thanks.

There were/are some available without the ugly gold billboard.

"Just out of curiosity, why did you buy it if you knew nothing of Clint Smith and Thunder Ranch?

TR is a famous training school for firearms. The owner, Clint Smith, worked for Jeff Cooper at "Orange" Gunsite (you probably don't know what that is either), later worked for HK in their training division. Mr. Smith started his own fireamrs training school, and Col. Cooper himself recommended Mr. Smith's school. I suggest some internet research."

Shawn,

Why not just kindly explain to the gentleman about TR and Gunsite, and Mr. Smith? Why talk down to him as if he's some kind of dummy? This guy is obviously very pleased with his Model 21-4, and was honestly searching for information. No reason to go on the attack and act like some kind of prima dona.

Regards,
Ron

I wish I had known that at the time. I suppose I will live with it. A little Bling,Bling with the Bang, Bang. Thanks Derby.

Rediscovered this thread while searching for info on the M21. Here is a pic of the M21-4 wearing square butt grips, and a Tuff Products .44 Quick Strip. The little brother is a M642.
