I am having a problem getting once fired brass resized to fit my Encore barrel. If the ammo is fired in my chamber it works when I reload. If I use someones else's brass and full length size it... it will not fit. Even though I am going over top dead center when sizing there is a subtle ring ahead of the brass... Any suggestions.

I have loaded for several Weatherby rifles. If you use someone else's brass, the first thing to check is overall length. The 240 is a high intensity round, and like all Weatherby rounds, the brass can grow quickly if fired in a chamber that was reamed on the maximum side of SAAMI specs.

I am using RCBS dies and a rockchucker. Brass is within normal limits that too was my first thought that it had grown. I think the problem is the miniscule brass build up ahead of the belt. I'll shorten a half dozen or so and see if that helps.
