Anyone have Hornady manual, scan a page for me?
I finally got some Hornady 9mm 124 gr HP XTP bullets but do not have the Hornady manual and my books do not list it.
I also got some Gold Dots but I have the Speer manual.
Would someone be so kind to scan the page for me? or list the powders and charges they have. I figured scanning would be easier. I'd like to come close to their factory ammo.
Thank you.

Personally I would just use the 125gr FMJ data they show. Seat where it looks right(and feeds) and work up from the start load.

I agree.Whenever changing any component, you should always reduce somewhat and work back up but I'd feel comfortable with using their data with a very similar bullet as a guideline.

I'm looking at my Hornady 7th Edition, and the 124-gr XTP is on the same page as their data for their 124-gr FMJ-RN. The minimum C.O.L. for the XTP is 1.060" while the FMJ-RN is 1.150".
All powder charges are identical for both bullets.
Hope that helps. If you still would like a scanned page, I'll try to get my finicky old scanner working and get a file sent to you.

Who is "they"? Hodgdon? They have a lot of loads for the Sierra 125gr.
Its weird, I have data for the 115 and 147 XTP but nothing for the 124gr.
Yes, I can start with a 124 fmj load but I was curious as to what Hornady has for their bullet. I look through Speer, Lyman and Lee, Hodgdon and get variation in load data.

I didn't mention in my previous post about the 124-gr XTP Hornady data, but I'd be happy to give you Hornady's charge tables if you have some powders you intend to try. That is, if I cannot get the book to scan...

Thanks, or just take a picture of it.
They have any load data for HP38/W231?
Unique?
Bullesye?
Any of the Color Dots? My local shop has some so I could buy a lb if needed.

Yes I was referring to Hornady's data in the previous post.
For alliant's powders why don't you check Alliant's site, and refer to Canoe The Yukons post.

Duhhhhh I am so used to using Hodgdons and their powder I never thought to look at the Alliant site. Guess cause I never find what I want there. In this case they do have it. Thanks!
I need a nap.

It's from the Hornady 6th Edition. I don't know if there are any major changes in the 7th Ed.

Nygma and Ridgeway,
Thank you both very much.I like the way they have 6 loads with fps for each powder. My other manuals only have start and max.

I just got home and checked to see how this thread is going. RidgewayCOs scan of the Hornady 6th is unchanged in their 7th. No new powders added, none deleted, and the charge weights are exactly the same.
